Advisory:
Welcome to the new year! This week’s advisory is for all FRESHMEN and SENIORS.
General:
- “Alert in Adolescence: Sleep Matters” for parents and students. The speaker is Dr. Mark Rosekind, sleep expert, tomorrow evening, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Pizza will be served. (PTSA)
- Auditions for the Spring Play will take place after school today through Thursday in the Theater. Everyone is welcome. There are many roles available in our production of “The Laramie Project.” See me in the Theater for details. (Woods)
- Spirit and 6th Man shirts will be sold at the basketball game this Friday. (Hori)
- All library books were due yesterday or before. Please renew or return. Fines must be paid as soon as possible. Check the lists that are posted near the Auditor and the Bidget Secretary’s offices in the Tower building or the list in the Library for your name. (Henry)
Clubs and Meetings:
- Best Buddies meets today at lunch in P7. (Rivera)
- Work Experience meets today at 3:05 in room 309 or at Gunn in L-7 at 6 pm. LAST CLASS. (Gyves)
- The National Honor Society will meet tomorrow in room 402. New members are welcome. (Duffy)
- Viking Men’s Chorus meets today at lunch. New members welcome. $3 for pizza. (Najar)
- Key Club meets tomorrow at lunch in room 214. (McNulty)
College and Career:
COLLEGE REP VISITS You must have teacher's permission one day in advance to attend. Pick up a form in the CCC or download from paly.net/college and bring it with you the day of the visit. Paly grad Alexandra Provo (2006) will meet with interested students Thursday, January 10th at 12:30 p.m. to share her perspective about attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut. (Cernobori)
Staff:
Classified Staff will meet in P9B tomorrow. Jaquie will be our guest. She’ll be discussing bond and proposed renovations at Paly. (Benfield)
