General:
- Each day next week at lunch there will be entertainment out on the quad, in addition to the other festivities planned for Not In Our Schools Week from rap artists to traditional Mexican dance, hip hop, humor, theater and more. Come out and enjoy this celebration of our richly diverse culture. Say No to Hate in 2008!!! (Benfield)
- Please check the Fines and Overdue Lists in both the Tower Building and the Library to see if your name appears. You must clear your obligations as soon as possible. See a librarian to make your payment. (Henry)
- Got any beads, broken necklaces or unmatched earrings? Drop them off in the box located in the library. They will be used to make new bracelets that will be donated to the children at InnVision. (Wixsom)
- Submit to Calliope’s short story and poetry contests. Cash prizes for all winners. Send entries to calliope.paly@gmail.com The deadline is April 23. (Sharp)
- The Village Cheese House is celebrating our Not In Our School Week. If you buy a sandwich you can get a free bag of chips; Monday – seniors, Tuesday – juniors, Wednesday – sophomores, Thursday – freshmen and Friday – staff get a free bag of chips with sandwich. Must bring I.D. (Puorro)
- If you donated blood, there are movie passes in the Attendance Office for you. Please come by to pick them up. (Larson)
College and Career:
- Interested in National Security? Sign up for a nomination to the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security in the C&CC. (Sinton)
- College Rep Visits: You must have teacher’s permission one day in advance to attend. Pick up a form in the CCC or download from paly.net/college and bring it with you the day of the visit.
