This week’s Advisory is for ALL FRESHMEN and JUNIORS. (Deggelman)
General:
- Not In Our School Week continues…Help make a mural celebrating unity and listen to rap artist Jeff Mendelmann perform his work about social justice and race. All on the Quad today at lunch. See you there. (Benfield)
- The Paly Student Diversity Coalition is proudly screening the film “Not In Our Town: Northern California” tonight in the ERC at 6 p.m. We will have a discussion after the film and light refreshments will be served. Please invite family and friends. (Rivera)
- Got any beads, broken necklaces, unmatched earrings? Drop them off in the box located in the Library. They will be used to make bracelets and donated to children at InnVision. (Wixsom)
- Take classes in graphic design/animation and cosmetology this summer. Held at Fremont High School and Monterey Academy in Santa Clara. Ten credits. Call Ms. Martinez at 868-93333 for information. (ROP)
- Need community service? Come this Saturday to build medical kits that will be sent to treat AIDS victims in Africa – 10 a.m. in the Student Center. (Mullins)
- There will be yoga today in the ERC at 3:15. It is open to everyone. Wear comfortable clothes so you can stretch. (Vilms)
- Mandatory AP pre-test registration today at 12 noon and tomorrow at 11:05 in the Theater. Come to one of these sessions and bring a #2 pencil, your lunch and something to write on. (Shepard)
Clubs and Meetings:
- Key Club meets today in room 214 at lunch. (McNulty)
- The National Honor Society meets today in room 402. New members are welcome and current members are required to attend. (Duffy)
- Mexico Choir meets tomorrow at lunch in room 110. (Najar)
Athletics:
Stunt Team workshop is tomorrow after school in the Dance Studio. We need 8 guys and 8 girls who want to learn challenging stunts and back flips. Hope to see you there. (McDaniel)
Staff:
Classified Staff meets today in P9B at 9:50. Superintendent Skelly will be our guest. (Benfield)
