General:
- NIOS Week wraps up with a performance by Grupo Luna y Sol, traditional Mexican dance – lively, high energy and colorful. Don’t miss it! (Benfield)
- FREE barbecue today at lunch brought to you by your Student Diversity Coalition in honor of NIOS week. Your choice of hamburger, cheeseburger, Polish sausage or veggie burger wit all the fixin’s plus a cookie and a drink. Yum, yum. Wear your pledge t-shirt. The Library will be closed for this event. - Need community service? Come this Saturday to build medical kits that will be sent to treat AIDS victims in Africa – 10 a.m. in the Student Center. (Mullins)
- Auto Shop gas saver tip – wash your car regularly, at least once a month and keep the windshield and rear window cleaned consistently. (Knight)
Athletics:
Stunt team, cheer team and dance team try outs are next week. Meet Monday after school in the Dance Studio to learn the try-out routines and skills. (McDaniel)
